Meet Our Leadership

Elliott drives Medalogix’s mission. He is responsible for working with the Board of Directors to evolve the company’s vision and set the company’s goals, hiring and working with the leadership team to drive the company’s mission and ensure it is clearly articulated for all employees, shaping engaging company culture, and speaking directly to the market on behalf of Medalogix. He admires how the company’s data outcomes impact care delivery and empower home health and hospice to make better patient care decisions, especially important as the complexity of the aging American population continues to evolve.

Elliott has been with Medalogix since 2013, when there were only four other full-timers working in the upstairs of an old house on Nashville’s Music Row. Previously employed at HealthStream Inc in Nashville and AirStrip Technology in San Antonio, he holds over 15 years of healthcare technology experience.

Scott brings expertise and leadership to drive Medalogix’s mission to revolutionize home health and hospice solutions. As Chief Operating Officer, Scott is responsible for all client-facing functions at Medalogix and for elevating the customer experience overall.  His extensive software and healthcare industry expertise, combined with a strategic mindset, helps shape Medalogix’s approach to customer partnerships and future operations.

Outside of work, he values family, enjoying the support of his wife and two children, where they embrace Colorado’s outdoors.  A passionate traveler and movie enthusiast, Scott has explored 30+ countries and has enjoyed living abroad.  Holding a BBA from the University of Michigan and an MBA from the University of Denver, he is motivated to inspire positive change for both the growing at-home industry and for Medalogix itself.

Andrew leads the financial team and drives value for Medalogix customers. He is passionate about improving patient experience and outcomes through the combination of clinical workflows and machine learning.  As a leader, Andrew is excited by the ability of technology to positively impact the provision of healthcare for millions of patients nationwide.

Before joining Medalogix in 2020, Andrew spent five years on the Medalogix board. Prior to Medalogix, Andrew served as Managing Director at Coliseum Capital Management where he invested in and partnered with portfolio company management teams across healthcare services and technology.

Derek leads the team of technology professionals that create and operate the data & software products for Medalogix customers.  He relishes the opportunity to build technology products that are used directly in patient care decisions. He gets to leverage his deep experience in analytics and software to help bring new products and innovation to Medalogix, ultimately improving healthcare decisions.  His focus is on the big picture, expanding the team with more talent and creating an environment that supports the company’s growth. 

A natural-born builder and self-taught programmer, Derek is no stranger to solving problems with hands-on solutions.  He gets to use his passion for engineering in a way that improves healthcare daily.  With 25 years in the industry, Derek chooses to continue working for Medalogix because of the incredible mission, the fulfilling work, and the great Medalogix team.

Laura is an accomplished leader with a proven track record of success in product development and strategy. As Chief Product Officer, Laura is responsible for leading teams to deliver innovative solutions that drive customer engagement and satisfaction.

Laura has experience across both e-commerce and healthcare technology sectors, with a focus on delivering best-in-class product experiences. Laura is committed to building products that make a meaningful impact on the lives of customers, and ultimately their patients. She believes in the power of leveraging machine learning and AI to inform and support clinical decision making. She’s passionate about her work at Medalogix, which gives her the continual opportunity to help clinicians provide the best healthcare possible.

Laura Brinkoetter holds a bachelor of science degree from Purdue University, as well as an MBA from Northwestern University. Laura lives in Chicago with her family, where she enjoys taking advantage of all the experiences the city has to offer.
