Dr. Fleming has been practicing medicine for 40 years. He is past president of the American Academy of Family Physicians and the Louisiana Academy of Family Physicians, and was founding president of the Louisiana Health Care Quality Forum, a partnership with the State of Louisiana aiming to provide high-quality health care to the state. Dr. Fleming has served as speaker of the Congress of Delegates of the AAFP and as board chair of the AAFP Board of Directors. As an active member of the medical quality field, he serves on various boards and panels for the health information technology industry. Additionally, he participates in international activities promoting medical education and primary care worldwide.
Dr. Fleming continues his role as founding director, chairman and chief medical officer for Antidote Education Company, which provides continuing education for health care providers. He serves as an assistant clinical professor in the Department of Family Medicine at Louisiana State University Health Science Center and in the Department of Family and Community Medicine at Tulane University Medical School.
Dr. Fleming was honored as Louisiana Family Doctor of the Year in 1996. The LSU Health Science Center presented him with the Family Medicine Award upon graduation in 1975; in 2003 the award was renamed, and is now called the Michael O. Fleming Award in Family Medicine.

Mary Ann Christopher is a nationally recognized health care executive with a distinguished record of chief operating officer and governance experience. Mary Ann has served as president and CEO of the nation's two largest not for profit community based health care corporations, Visiting Nurse Association Health Group of NJ and Visiting Nurse Service of New York. In those capacities Mary Ann led multi-corporate community based health systems overseeing home care, hospice, a Medicare Advantage health plan, a Medicaid health plan for dually eligible members and a system of federally qualified health centers.
With more than 25 years of healthcare experience, Mary Ann experience leading major health care turnarounds, mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures and product diversification strategies--recently in the areas of population health, telehealth and health coaching.
Mary Ann has served as a director on the boards of universities, trade associations, hospital, community based behavioral health system, correctional health, comprehensive senior living corporation, assisted living, medical day care and skilled nursing facilities. She has served as chair and vice chair of boards of trustees and has distinguished herself by serving on executive, audit, finance, quality, compensation, university affairs and governance committees. She currently serves as the chair of the National Advisory Committee for the Robert Wood Johnson Foundation New Jersey Nursing Initiative.
Mary Ann holds degrees from Fairfield University where she earned a bachelor of science in nursing and graduated Summa Cum Laude, and from Seton Hall University where she earned her masters of science in nursing and was inducted as a member of Sigma Theta Tau. She was awarded honorary doctoral degrees by Fairfield University and Monmouth University. She is a fellow of the American Academy of Nursing, New York Academy of Medicine, the Public Health Leadership Institute of CDC and the Wharton Nurse Executive Program. Mary Ann has held faculty appointments at Columbia University, New York University, Rutgers University and Seton Hall University.
Notable among Mary Ann's awards and recognitions are Top 50 Most Powerful Health Care Leaders in NJ, the American Nurses Association Honorary Human Rights Award and congressional and industry recognition for her leadership in directing large scale emergency response efforts.
